MPS Learning Garden BTS Makeover

Last year, the MPS PTO raised funds to replace the nine planting beds in the Learning Garden located outside the library.  The current planting beds were in desperate need of replacement due to age.  Thanks to our parent donations, over the 2023 Spring Break, MPS Board members, volunteers, Ms. Lambert (5th Grade), and Ms. Whiteley (Band) replaced seven of the nine beds last year! These new beds utilized new boards and cornerstones to increase the longevity of the beds.

With the new school year upon us, we are fundraising to cover the maintenance costs of the garden and extend the use of our outdoor learning area for students.

By helping to cover the total cost of replacing a planting bed in the learning garden and ensuring that our Learning Garden continues to bring learning experiences and happiness to our MPS students, your family will have the option of designing a stepping stone for the Learning Garden.

Learning Garden P.R.I.D.E. Sponsor - $50.00 (Unlimited Sponsorship Opportunities)

In nature, everything plays a part in helping plants to grow. In the learning garden, everyone plays their part throughout the school year to care for our garden.  Your donation plays a big part in ensuring students have the supplies and tools necessary for success. Your family will have the option of painting a rock for the garden.

Learning Garden Paw Sponsor - $25.00 (Unlimited Sponsorship Opportunities)

Every dollar counts! By making a donation to our Learning Garden, you lend a Paw in ensuring that as we replace our planter beds, we have the necessary tools, supplies, and plants to get our garden off to a successful start and maintain it. Your family will have the option of painting a rock for the garden.

All funds raised during this fundraiser will go to the continued maintenance of the Learning Garden and the enhancement of the grounds surrounding the Learning Garden, and school grounds.
